We had such a great time meeting some of our fans at the Los Angeles Festival of Books last month (read about it here). We hope to have the same kind of wonderful experience meeting our East Coast fans at the South Carolina Book Festival. Meryton Press will be there with authors KaraLynne Mackrory and Cynthia Ingram Hensley who will also be signing books.
The event takes place from May 16-18th at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on 1101 Lincoln Street in Columbia, SC.
Cynthia Ingram Hensley is the author of Echoes of Pemberley, 2013 Silver Medal Benjamin Franklin Award Finalist for best new voice with the IBPA (Independent Book Publishers Awards), and it’s sequel, The Heart Does Whisper, 2014 Finalist in Romance with the IBPA, which brings the characters to our Southern shore in Savannah, Georgia.
KaraLynne Mackrory is the author of a trio of Regency period variations of Pride and Prejudice, Falling for Mr. Darcy, Bluebells in the Mourning, and Haunting Mr. Darcy: A Spirited Courtship. The latter, published at the end of March, is in the midst of a blog tour extending through May 16th in which there will be several opportunities to win a copy of the book, read an excerpt, and see what others have to say about it.
At the festival, you can pick up your favorite Meryton Press novel or find a souvenir or two of your travel through books in the form of a button or mug (read more about that here).
