Suzanne Shaw has always loved British history and literature, including but not limited to Jane Austen. She’s a life-long writer who has practiced law and was also trained as a journalist. Truthfully, she began writing historical fiction so she could spend as much time as possible in the 18th and early 19th centuries. Of Ships and Sealing Wax is her first novel. She was fortunate enough to research its historical background and settings in the Bodleian Library, the London Library, and in Cornwall. She lives with her rescue cat Norm in the Pacific Northwest. (To be clear, he rescued her.)

Of Ships and Sealing Wax is her first book
