Captain Fitzwilliam Darcy
From Fair Stands the Wind by Catherine Lodge
- Self-reliant
- Confident
- A master mariner
Captain Fitzwilliam Darcy of the Royal Navysecond son of Pemberley: sent to seat at an early age. In “Fair Stands the Wind” by Catherine Lodge, we find a man who lacks the pride of an eldest son and heir, and the polished, society manners of a wealthy landowner. A man who has become accustomed to loneliness and who finds it hard to believe his loneliness might be over.
But you’ll have to read the book to find out how and indeed whether his is proved right.

Colin Firth will always be my Darcy! Sadly I haven’t been able to use the rafflecopter entry all week!

This picture is obviously from the first part of this wonderful book. A very handsome man but I am still sticking to my three choices – Colin, Matthew and Richard Armitage.
But thank you for sharing, it is always extremely pleasant to study all these pictures to make the decision 😍😍😍
Seasons Greetings and a very Happy New Year.

I, too, loved Fair Stands the Wind! For me it continues to be Colin Firth first of all. There are a few who look the part but he played it so well, IMHO. David Gandy and Jamie Dornan are two who look the part for me.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.

This could be Darcy for me. He has the eyes down. And those lips—mmmmmmmm. Hooray for Captain Darcy!
