Unleashing Undeceived

unfront (1)

Well, it’s flown the nest. After over two years in my head and under my wing, Undeceived has been edited and re-edited, proofed and re-proofed, and sent to Meryton Press for publication. It will be in Kindle and print versions very soon. The tentative release date is January 30, 2016 – a week from today!

I told my editors Christina and Ellen that I felt like the book “escaped” rather than moving through the purposeful, organized send off I envisioned for my fourth published work. Perhaps writing books will always be this way. Perhaps writing books always should be this way—fraught with nervous excitement and possibility.

Undeceived has been a part of my life for so long, I can hardly imagine not working on it or worrying about it. However, I’m glad it’s going out into the world and extremely grateful to the people who are making it happen: editor Christina Boyd, copyeditor/layout designer Ellen Pickels, foreign language consultants Agnes Nogradi and Lynnette Berry, cover designer Zorylee Diaz-Lupitou and Meryton Press publisher Michele Reed.

Sure, there will be a blog tour, posts, discussions, reviews (nice ones, hopefully!) but there will be a hole in my life where Elizabeth/Liz/Beth and Darcy/Darby/Liam used to reside. I sort of miss them and their crazy adventures.

So, I’ll have to fill that void with some other characters very soon (Emma and Knightley perhaps?)

I can’t wait to host your book on my blog. But mostly, as a fan of your books, I can’t wait to just kick back and enjoy this story! Best of luck with the book… I love the idea of Emma & Knightley story.
