Yes, for me it is always Colin Firth…sigh! The wet shirt was enticing but even without that scene he is one fine piece of male form.

He is indeed, Sheila. The walking scene when D&E meet at Pemberley always does me in.

Oh yes. This is definitely my idea of a great Darcy. He started my obsession as well to be added to in 2005 by Matthew. I also see Richard Armitage in the role, he really has the eyes 😍.
I loved this book, talk about confusion. Mr Gardiner????? Enough said.
May I say thank you, Seasons Greetings and a very Happy New Year.

Ah, the eyes! And the cleft chin, of course. 🙂

Merry Christmas to you too, Glynis. You and Sheila are such wonderful and supportive members of the JAFF community.

Hey, your Darcy was pretty darn steamy too, Amy!

I love that slightly self-conscious look and the fiddling of the cuff links in this photo. That’s the proud man who has trouble figuring out how to chit chat. Great choice, Jan! No matter who’s on our cover, we all love Colin best for that stellar performance!

We do, Suzan! Haughty awkwardness. Or awkward haughtiness. And always so handsome.

Definitely my Darcy, Jan! Like your description of him – quite apt.

A very handsome man who looks suspiciously like the gentleman on day#1 and day #5. Funny how that happened. I will break away from the pack and declare that gentleman #2 is my favorite.

Never was a ballroom wall more handsomely haunted!
